Trust is hard to come by these days, especially when you add human nature to this delicate equation we call life. Humans are, by design, selfish, and this is no-ones fault. It is an ugly truth the brunt of our species chooses to ignore when they look in the mirror each morning. Yet I choose to nod my head in acknowledgement come the dawn, greeting it as I would a college, for it is a part of me, an unavoidable evil. But while we are selfish that doesn't mean we have to hurt everyone around us and take whatever, whenever, we please. Let the fruit of others greed motivate you to not abide by your own. Trust for trust, not for material promise.
